Neta joined the education team at the Impact Centre in 2015. Currently she is the Placement Coordinator for the Impact Centre’s Work Integrated Learning programs, where she develops and maintains employer relationships to support the student experience at the placement sites. Neta also develops educational programs and materials that employ experiential learning to enhance students’ learning process.
Neta hold an M.Sc. from the University of Toronto, where she studied the flow of microgel particles in microfluidic channels. She also received an M.Sc with honours from Ben Gurion University in Israel, developing and studying the characteristics of nano-filtration membranes in desalination processes.
Neta has an extensive experience developing and organizing science outreach programs for people of all ages, from preschooler children to adults. When not working, Neta enjoys reading, knitting, hiking and spending time with her family.
