During the academic year, we gather a panel of entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to converse with each other—and the audience—about the realities of running a startup company. E100 is a free, public event targeted at students and recent graduates without a business background looking to learn more about starting a company. The series allows beginners to learn from and be inspired by relatable founders in an unintimidating environment. Visit

Igniting Impact

Igniting Impact inspires graduate students in the sciences and engineering to use their education, research, and expertise to build a company that benefits society. At themed challenge events, Impact Centre mentors work with students to identify what societal problems are aligned with their skillset and passions then brainstorm technological and business solutions for those issues. The event culminates with a pitch event where finalists are given an opportunity to share their ideas and compete for a cash prize to jumpstart their venture. Visit
